Our Team

At Virtual Weddings, we truly believe that we have an absolute dream team!

On this page you can meet each of our staff members and get to know them a little better…

Emma – Founder / CEO

What do you do within Virtual Weddings?
I founded Virtual Weddings in 2018 after a year spent developing the idea. On a day to day basis I am involved in everything! I work closely with everyone on the team to facilitate everything that happens in the office behind the scenes and I do all of the shooting on the day. I spend time with the couples getting to know their personalities and their plans for the day beforehand so that I can make sure I capture every important moment. I then do the editing of the films and make them into the incredible virtual reality experience films that we then present to our couples.

What experience do you have?
I’ve been a photographer and film maker for over two decades, I’ve always worked for myself and have lived as a full time artist with my work travelling the world and exhibiting. I’ve worked on some incredible independent film making projects before starting Virtual Weddings.

What would be your dream wedding?
I love weddings – all weddings! If I had to choose a favourite I would say that I enjoy a rustic outdoor wedding with a Celtic theme. There’s something about stripping it all back and spending the day celebrating the marriage and the company of friends and family that is epically beautiful.

Name some of your hobbies!
I love doing so many things! I’m a very active person and love to hike and be by the ocean in my camper van. I snowboard weekly at the indoor slope in Milton Keynes and get away to the mountains as often as I can. I have recently started Brazilian Jiu jitsu and I’m enjoying the challenges that brings.

What’s your favourite food?
I love all good food! Whole foods home grown,  freshly picked and home cooked are my happy place.

Andy – Creative Director

What do you do within Virtual Weddings?
Having been involved with Virtual Weddings from the start it took a little while to make it official but in 2019 I joined the team on a full time basis. I now work alongside Emma on the day to day running of the company, creative direction and even on the day shooting.

What experience do you have?
I have worked as a photographer for over 20 years now with 14 of those years working as a wedding photographer. I still shoot regular weddings as a photographer making Emma and I a perfect on the day team for your wedding.

What would be your dream wedding?
I like things simple, a typical english county wedding is just perfect. You don’t need to spend tens of thousands just make it personal and let us have a great time.

Name some of your hobbies!
The reality is, photography was a hobby before it was a job so that goes without saying. But aside from that I love to snowboard and i train in Brazilian Jiu jitsu.

What’s your favourite food?
Anything full of sugar…

Craig – Marketing Director

What do you do within Virtual Weddings?
I look after everything to do with marketing and our digital presence. Websites, social media, blogs, content, customer enquiries etc.etc.etc.

What experience do you have?
I’ve worked in promotions and marketing pretty much all my life. From promoting music and bands when I was younger through to working with large brands based in-house or in-agency. Nowadays, aside from working with VirtualWeddings I also run my own business Swifty Social.

What would be your dream wedding?
Definitely beach-based. Somewhere warm and tropical, preferably a small island or something like that. That’s the dream really isn’t it? Warmth, sand, sea, exotic food and exciting backdrops. Yes please.

Name some of your hobbies!
Well, I get up to plenty of things when I’m not working. Nights out in Bristol, music festivals, fire breathing/eating and more. Mostly though you’ll find me working as I’m one of the lucky few who consider their career to be fun!

What’s your favourite food?
I would say my favourite food would most likely be the humble noodle soup. So many varieties, so many different countries have their own take on it and it’s extremely versatile. Easily one of the best types of food out there.
